How long does the building process take?
Many factors can contribute to the home building time line. Depending on the model and style of the home, construction can range from six months to one year or more. At Kickerillo Companies, we strive to complete the construction of a new home in the least amount of time in order to meet our buyer's needs without sacrificing the quality.
What type of warranty do you offer?
Every new Kickerillo home includes a standard home warranty. We offer up to ten year warranty coverage to ensure the workmanship and materials, as well as the plumbing, electrical and structural components, withstand the test of time. The details of our home warranty coverage are outlined in the Seller's contract. Please ask your Kickerillo Sales Representative for more information.
Do you only build from plans you have already done or can I bring my own ideas to the table? How much can I customize?
Kickerillo Companies has been building homes for more than 60 years and has experience in building various styles and layouts. In the initial planning phase, you will meet with our in-house design team to create a plan tailored to your needs and desires. See something you like or want some inspiration? We keep all of our plans on file and are happy to customize and make any home your own.
What standard features do your homes include? What options and upgrades can I select?

What are the energy-saving features of the homes you build?
Kickerillo homes are inspected and rated by a certified Energy Star rating company. We design and build our homes to meet Energy Star's rigorous requirements, giving you the peace of mind that your home was built of the highest quality. In meeting those requirements, you can be certain your home is built more durable, giving you better comfort, as well as reduced utility and maintenance costs. Can I make changes and upgrades during the building process?
Kickerillo Companies allows our customers to upgrade and add features to your new home during the building process, as long as it does not interfere with the building code or plans that have already been approved.
How can I finance my new home?
Your Kickerillo Sales Representative will provide you with a list of local lenders who will be happy to assist you with the financing of your new home. They will offer you competitive rates and excellent service. Additionally, if you are wanting to owner-finance the construction of your new home, we will work with you with that process as well.
Is there a Homeowner’s Association and what are the fees?
